Exchange and Return Policy for KDM Shop

1. Introduction

This Policy explains the exchange and return terms applicable to the products and services offered by KDM Shop, whether they are physical products such as automotive parts and accessories, or technical services such as tuning and electronic calibration. By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions stated in this Policy.

KDM Shop aims to provide high-quality products and services while clearly defining the cases where returns or exchanges may be accepted and the cases where they are not accepted, in order to protect the rights of both the customer and the store.

2. Tuning Products and Technical Services

Tuning services, vehicle file modifications, electronic map adjustments, custom calibrations, and any similar technical services are considered non-physical services that are performed based on the vehicle’s condition, customer requirements, and vehicle data at the time of service.

For this reason, tuning products and technical services are generally non-refundable once the service has started or has been completed, because they are digital/technical services and not physical products that can be returned to their original condition or resold.

This includes, but is not limited to, Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage X, custom tuning, electronic calibration, or any modification performed on the vehicle or the vehicle’s software/file.

3. Exceptional Refund Cases for Tuning Services

Although tuning services are generally non-refundable after the service has started or been completed, KDM Shop reserves the right to review each case individually. A full or partial refund may be issued at the store’s discretion in the following cases:

  1. If the tuning service cannot be completed due to a technical or operational reason.

  2. If the tuning was not actually performed and the service was not delivered to the customer.

  3. If the store and the customer agree to cancel the service before it is fully completed.

  4. If the tuning has been completed but the customer is still at the service location, before leaving the place where the tuning was performed, and the store determines that there is an acceptable reason to cancel or adjust the service amount.

After the customer leaves the tuning location or uses the vehicle after receiving it, the customer is not entitled to request a refund for the tuning service, unless KDM Shop approves such refund as an exception in writing or through an approved communication channel.

4. Physical Parts and Products

Physical parts may be returned within a maximum period of three (3) days from the date the customer receives the order, provided that all of the following conditions are met:

  1. The product must be new and unused.

  2. The product must not have been installed, tested, modified, or used.

  3. The product must be in its original condition as received.

  4. The original box or packaging must be available and in acceptable condition.

  5. All accessories, parts, manuals, labels, or included items must be returned with the product.

  6. The product must not be classified as a non-returnable or consumable item.

KDM Shop has the right to reject any return request if the product is used, installed, damaged, incomplete, missing packaging, or not in the same condition as when it was sold.

5. Consumable and Non-Returnable Products

Consumable products cannot be returned or exchanged after purchase due to their nature, direct use, or the possibility of being affected after opening, installation, or testing.

Consumable and non-returnable products may include, but are not limited to: filters, oils, fluids, spark plugs, sensors that have been installed or tested, electrical or electronic parts after opening or use, and any product clearly marked by the store as non-returnable.

6. Exchange Policy

KDM Shop does not provide a general exchange policy after sale. Exchanges are only available in exceptional cases, including:

  1. If a product different from the ordered product was delivered.

  2. If there is a clear order error caused by the store.

  3. If the part is not suitable for installation due to an incorrect product description or compatibility information provided by the store.

  4. If both the store and the customer agree to replace the product with another suitable part instead of issuing a return.

If an exchange is approved, the product must be new, unused, and returned with its original packaging and accessories, unless the exchange is due to a confirmed defect or error caused by the store.

7. Order Errors or Incorrect Fitment

If there is an order error or the part does not fit the vehicle correctly, KDM Shop will review the case. Depending on the situation, the store may approve a return or exchange the part for another suitable product with the customer’s approval.

The customer is responsible for providing accurate vehicle information before purchasing, such as vehicle make, model, year, trim, and other required details. KDM Shop is not responsible for fitment issues caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

8. Shipping and Return Costs

If the return or exchange is due to an error caused by KDM Shop, the store will cover the appropriate costs related to resolving the issue. However, if the return is requested due to the customer’s preference, incorrect selection by the customer, or inaccurate information provided by the customer, the customer may be responsible for shipping, return costs, and any related fees.

9. How to Request a Return or Exchange

To request a return or exchange, the customer must contact KDM Shop within the applicable period and provide the order number, clear photos of the product, the reason for the request, and any information required to review the case.

10. General Terms

KDM Shop reserves the right to reject any return or exchange request that does not meet the conditions stated in this Policy. The store also reserves the right to update this Policy at any time. The version published on the store at the time of submitting the return or exchange request shall apply.
